01 What Is required to start?
- Dimensioned floor plans in PDF form if you have them.
- Photos of the space (if renovating).
- If you are renovating and do not have plans, you scan your room for dimensions using an iPhone Pro or iPad Pro.
- Inspiration images, notes, links to appliances, and fixtures, finish choices in colors and materials you’d like to see.
02 What rooms can you design and render?
- I can design and render any room of your home.
- Most projects start with the kitchen and bathrooms.
- You can add other rooms like walk-in pantry, bathroom, mudroom, laundry, etc.
03 How do we communicate during the process?
- After you book you will get access to a Client Portal where we communicate and share files.
- We can also use the app Voxer on your mobile phone.
04 Do you provide cabinetry drawings?
- I offer cabinet drawings designed for planning purposes.
- It is essential for you to create a separate set of cabinetry drawings in collaboration with your builder or cabinet maker.
- Field verify all dimensions and details on-site before placing your cabinet order.
- My drawings are intended for planning only and should not be utilized for final sizing, construction, purchasing, or fabrication.
05 Can you match paint, materials, lighting, furniture, and appliances?
- I can match paint colors. All I need to know is the name and manufacturer of the paint color.
- Materials, lighting, furniture, and appliances used in my renderings will be approximate and are not guaranteed to be exact matches to inspiration photos or manufacturer materials.
- I have extensive libraries from most major manufacturers like Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, Kohler, GE, Wolf, Thermador, Delta, and many more.
- I’m certified as a True Color Expert® by Maria Killam Color Academy.
06 What about the budget?
- Who is sourcing the interior finish materials? Flooring, Finishes, Faucets, Countertops?
- Who is purchasing interior finishes materials?
- When do the materials have to be at the jobsite? Some items may take 60-90 days or more lead time.
- The virtual consulting options offered here are NOT budget specific.
- It is your responsibility for sourcing materials and providing me the details.
- It is your responsibility for managing your budget.
